“ My friend and I were in the area to go for a walk in the surrounding countryside. We parked here and decided to eat first (12 noon) as the food stopped at 2pm. The restaurant was fully booked, so we ordered from the bar menu and ate in the other bar in front of the open log fire. The food was very good, the staff were very attentive and the place had a real cosy, relaxed ambience. The toilets were clean and well maintained. It also had a dog friendly policy. Along with our walk we had a very enjoyable day. Well worth a visit for anyone in the area. ”
